The Vasur Incident

Jack grabbed his throat and began to squeeze. "Where is the kid!?"

The Jedi gasped for air as Jack momentarily relinquish his grip. "Coruscant."

"Where on Coruscant!" he shoved the Jedi against the wall.

"Jedi Temple, ask the Grand Master, he knows more than me now."

"Good to know, thanks Jetii" he let go of the Jedi, who fell to the floor breathless.

"So you wouldn't kill me?"

"Sorry, but your life ended the second you took the ade from his buir." With that, he pulled out a blaster and shot him. As he walked back to his ship he picked up the jedi's lightsaber to add to his collection.

He got back to the ship, Vex walked down the entrance plate of the shuttle, "Well did you find out where the kid is?"

His boots clanked on the boarding plate, "He's on Coruscant, in the Jedi Temple. I'm going to go have a word with the Grand Master and the Jedi Council." He then boarded the ship and it took off.

Hours later, the ship jumped out of hyperspace above Coruscant. It landed on a platform near the Senate Building, a few miles away. While Jack was talking to the pilot, Vex backed an airspeeder out of the shuttle, and then he backed out another airspeeder with a carriage in the back that housed one of the new fifth generation BARC speeder bikes. Jack looked at some of the clones, "Tybex, Kyde, Ratchet you're with me. The rest of go get something to eat. I hear there's a good place down the street from here."

Jack then looked over at Vex who was working on the airspeeder, "Vex," the major looked up, "Go find your hooker, I'll be back in a few hours"

"I am a man of class my good sir," he paused for a second, "I do escorts."

Jack smiled, "Whatever, Be here when its time to leave, also I may need backup so be ready if I call." He tossed his rifle in the seat of the airspeeder and ushered the three clones in with him. He hopped in and it took off heading towards the Jedi Temple. "Now then, I want you to stay in the speeder unless I call for backup, if that's the case, I have something special for you." Jack took out a box and handed it to Tybex the clone opened it. Inside were three cortosis gauntlets. "These bad boys will short out a Jedi's lightsaber for a short time. This is not often available to the standard trooper, so enjoy."

The speeder landed outside of the temple Jack hopped out and picked up his assault rifle, "Lets hope I don't need to use this, stay here and keep the engine running." He then proceeded towards the entrance to the temple.

On the way in a Jedi Knight, the man ignited his lightsaber and stopped him, "What brings you here mandalorian?"

"I've come for the child you stole."

"Leave or I will be forced to kill you."

"No." Jack responded. The Jedi rushed forward and swung his lightsaber at him but he ducked. Jack extended his finger blades and thrusted his fingers into the Jedi's throat, and he continued walking as his attacker drowned in his own blood.

He walked into the temple as a group of Jedi came to meet him, "Please move, I don't have to kill you." The Jedi didn't listen and came rushing forward, Jack sighed as he unsheathed the Beskad Elemental Saber and rammed it into the ground forming a fissure, that caused the ground below them to crumble, and they fell to the floor below. He walked towards it and looked down, "Stay there if you want to live." He continued on to an elevator that took him up to the council's floor. Once there he stepped off, and continued down the hall.

As he neared the door, five Jedi again stopped Jack. "Get out of my way, I have business with the council."

"No! You just killed my friend!"

"Move or I'll kill you too." The Jedi charged him. Jack took out the Beskad Elemental Saber, and blocked the young Knights attacks. The man was probably Jacks age, but that didn't matter. He used the saber to cut the lightsaber in half than rammed his hand into the man's chest. He used Blast Palm on him. There was a wet popping sound and his back exploded outwards, killing him instantly.

He then cut into the next Jedi and froze him solid. Next the sword caught on fire as he sliced into the next Jedi, cutting the his arm off the man screamed in pain, Jack used the force to push him into a wall, "Be glad I used the fire, it cauterized your wound, now you won't bleed to death." The final two Jedi came at him at once, Jack pulled out his lightsaber, blocking both attacks, then he jerked backwards and stabbed each of them in the chest, they fall down dead.

With the last of his obstacles removed, he approached the door top the council's chamber, and with the hiss of the doors opening, Jack had reached his destination. He took off his mandalorian helmet and walked in, "Well hello there, Grand Master. I need a moment of your time." The Jedi inside were stunned, apparently they knew what just happened.

"How dare you barge in here like this," a female Bothan barked at him.

"This is outrageous!" a Togruta man yelled out. "Get out of here now!"

The Jedi Grand Master stood up, a male human in his mid to late fifties, the rest of the council quieted down, "What do you want mandalorian?"

"I want Baltan Vasur, the child your subordinate stole from his parents."

"We can not give him back his parents, because it is too dangerous to release one whose mind had been opened to the Force."

"Is that so? Well then, I'll train him when the time comes."

"No!" A Shistavanen male jumped out of his seat, "I won't allow that."

Jack looked over at him, "Are you not aware that the Jedi should not be interfering with mandalorian affairs? We are not part of the Republic, and you Jedi have no say in our issues or everyday life." The Shistavanen nodded and sat down, looking to the Grand Master for guidance.

"I see your point, but I still feel like this is a bad idea."

"Well Grand Master, its that or an inter Government Issue, that could lead to war. Those Jedi I just killed were in self-defense. What do you think I can in aggression? The law in on my side, its your move."

The Grand Master looked over at a female Cerean council member and nodded. She got up and left the room to get the child. A few minutes past before she reappeared with the toddler. Jack picked him up. "Lets get you back to your parents," the boy giggled and clapped.

He walked out of the High Council's room into the lobby where jack had just killed the four Jedi, the council members following. Jack picked up the lightsabers in the hallway, except for the one he didn't kill, and headed to the elevator. After walking out the front entrance he picked up the last lightsaber from the first Jedi, and went over to the airspeeder.

Tybex, Kyde, Ratchet were still in the speeder they immediately pulled out their blasters and took aim at the Jedi following behind him, "Stand down boys," Jack hopped in the air speeder, as the troopers lowered their arms.

He handed Tybex the kid, he paused and looked over at the Jedi, "Oh and jetii, I will leave you with this," his voice suddenly darkened, "If you ever take a force sensitive child from a mandalorian couple, I will personally kill 10 Knights or Masters, for each child taken. And I will get them back." His voice suddenly brightened, "Have a nice day." And the speeder took off and speed back to landing platform.

The speeder landed back on the platform nest to the shuttle, the other clones that stayed behind had just gotten back from the diner, one clone held up a bag with the diner's emblem on it, "Got you some Chocolate Puff cake, Glaze cake, also some chocolates form Gediva's down the street."

"Oh goody, thanks. We'll enjoy that on the way back to Mandalore."

The clone then looked at Baltan, the toddler smiled and waved at him, he waved back. Then he looked back to Jack, "No problems?"

"Nope."

"How many Jedi?"

"Five point one."

"Point one?"

"Five Jedi, and one arm. Where's Vex?" The trooper rolled his head back and pointed to the shuttle. "I'll give him five minutes. He shouldn't be doing that with a child out here, especially a force sensitive one." After four minutes, it ended three more until the escort walked down the ramp and to her speeder, her blonde hair flowing in the breeze, and she left.

Jack looked over to the troopers, "Get the speeders onboard." The troopers nodded and got to work. He then walked up the ramp and met Vex in the hall.

"I see you got the ade," pointing to the child in Jacks arms.

"Yep, now lets get to Enceri." They walked back into the bridge. "So how was your hooker?"

"Escort, and nice. Coruscanti escorts are the best, they're a naughty bunch." Vex winked.

"Good for you,"

The other clones walked onto the ship Tybex approached him, "Airspeeders onboard, sir."

"Very good, take us Enceri."

"Sir." Tybex nodded, and walked over to the pilot's seat. He engaged the thrusters, and the ship took off to Mandalore.

As the shuttle landed back on Mandalore, in the town of Enceri, the Baltan's parents came running outside. The hydraulics hissed as the ship settled on the ground, and the boarding plate clanked as it came down and hit the ground. Jack came walking down it, Baltan in his arms. His mother came over, Jack handed him do her, as she cried with happiness. Baltan's father came walking up to Jack, "I cant thank you enough Jack, thank you"

"Don't worry about it. Tell me if the Jedi give you anymore trouble. He is force sensitive so when the time comes, I should teach him about the force."

"The dad nodded, "Can I offer you a drink?"

"No thanks, I'm good. You should spend you some time with your kid, drink with me later. I'll be in Arana for the next couple of days. Come there if you want to talk." He walked back onto the ship. The Vasur family waved as the shuttle took off to Arana, near Keldabe.

Vex looked at Jack, "What are you thinking?"

Jack looked over at him, "I think that kid will be my apprentice one day. Give ten years or so."

"Great, a little version of you running around." Vex retorted sarcastically.

"Shut up and fly."

"Yes sir," Vex grabbed the controls and continued on to Keldabe.
