The Jade Blade is Jack Meyer’s personal lightsaber. It is a heavy-duty model, made of beskar, also known as “Mandalorian Iron”. The hilt is coated in a high-grip, metallic rubber, that gives it the appearance of a snake, and the articulated pieces, so it cannot be snared on something, and has excellent grip.

The Jade Blade has a very unique shape to it; it is shaped like a sword, tapering to a point. The blade is also honed to a precision point, rather than have a rounded shaped blade, it is wider in the back and narrower in the front. This also gives it faster and better cutting abilities then the average lightsaber.

Being that it is made of Beskar, the hilt cannot be cut or damaged by another lightsaber.

The crystal is a cut Imperial Pyrox Jade, a very rare crystal from the small backwater planet of Pyroxene III, the Xo system. After fighting through the jungle and hostile natives, he managed to find the cave and get into the depths of the cave. He managed to find a pure crystal, had it cut, and is what gives his blade a unique jade color.

The mouth is designed to open when the blade is activated. Because the mouth is also made of beskar, and cannot be damaged by a lightsaber, the blade forces it open when it is ignited.

It also has retractable fangs that spring out when the mouth is opened.

The tail is articulated so that it acts as a belt ring, and locks in on his belt.

Jack will often use the Jade Blade in tandem with Beskad Elemental Saber [link] , in a technique called T'ad Kad. The members of Clan Meyer have developed a technique similar to Jar'Kai, that they call T'ad Kad or “Two Sabers.” In this practice, a lightsaber and beskad are used at the same time.
