The Battle of Senas Part 2

While Jack’s elite unit stormed the castle, the rest of the forcers were locked in combat situations of all types. Their task was simple capture the planet of Senas IV, and eliminate all enemy forces in the area. They could do this by taking the gigantic, peninsula city, which is also the planet’s capital city. It is the city of Sok.

Corps leads by Zash are standing outside of the city. Zash is the commander of the 14th Urban Combat Corps. They are waiting in the forested area around some of the city’s gates as the city is shelled by artillery fire from every angle.

“Wait for it, wait for it,” Zash said to his men. Suddenly the hail of fire stops. “Now!” Zash shouts “Charge! All units move in and take out those AA guns first.” At that moment an avalanche of men ran down the gentle sloped hills and roads heading into the city’s entrances.

A screeching alarm sounded, and the city’s main defenses started to kick in. A number of heavy metal gates began to close.

“All AT-TEs within range, open fire on those gates with your heavy projectiles! Do in now!” Zash shouted. They did as they were told. Their projectiles hit dead on, shattering the gates. The chaos did not stop there. The force of the explosion sent chunks of metal flying into the city, shelling the first wave of the defending forces with a hail of shrapnel.

A clone captain relays Zash’s orders to his men shouting, “The gates are down! All forward units attack!” The men poured through the remains of the gates that had fallen below.

Suddenly rapid burst of blaster fire started to hit the clones hard. “Men take cover!” a clone shouted.

That captain then shouted “Zash we need PLXs up here at once. We’re pinned down!”

“Ok captain they’re being sent up there right now. Just hold out a minuet longer.” Zash responded.

“Yes Sir!” shouted the captain.

30 seconds later, a platoon of heavily armed PLX men got into there positions. Their lieutenant shouted “Fire! Give’em Hell!” They pulled their triggers sending a barrage of rockets in to the building, sending them to the ground in a huge fiery explosion.

“The guns are down, move on!” Zash shouted.

Another captain from Zash’s personal staff came running up to him and reported “Sir, the first wave of the enemy defenses has been breached and are in retreat. We’ve had minimal losses so far, and my men have begun to engage the second line.”

“Very good captain, put it in the report,” Zash replyed.

“Yes Sir!” and the captain ran off to lead his men once more.

Well I think its about time I get back in the game then, Zash thought and he charged forward into the battle.
